True Loving Community

Well, we've tried everything to "create" communities in our American culture. We've tried inspiring it, rewarding it, enforcing it, programming it, marrying into it, initiating into it, inclusivity, exclusivity, similarities, differences - you name it, we've tried it. When it comes right down to it, the truest most loving community I ever experience is always in the presence of a person (or people) who are doing their best to truly love God and truly love others. True common-unity is never a goal that can be attained in and of itself (it's like chasing after the wind), but is instead a by-product of true love.

Trying to attain community is certainly a lot like trying to herd cats, or catch a greased pig...but when the Spirit moves it and molds it...wow, that is a miracle to behold and a treasure to be held onto tenderly. Peace.
